Treatment process

Oily sludge generally has the characteristics of high oil content, high viscosity, fine particles, and difficult dehydration. The sludge has a large stock, which is likely to cause pollution to the surrounding environment and is a hazardous waste.

Characteristic analysis

1. High oil content

Oily sludge usually has an oil content of about 10%-50% and has a high viscosity. When some dehydration equipment is used to dehydrate it, it will cause blockage and adhesion, which will seriously affect the treatment efficiency.

2. Fine particles

The oily sludge has relatively fine particles, relatively serious leakage, and difficult dehydration.

3. Corrosive

As the crude oil produces various heavy metal salts and sulfur-containing corrosion products during the process of mining and processing, the corrosion of the equipment is serious and the service life of the equipment is seriously affected.

4. Harm to health

The sludge contains pathogens such as bacteria. At the same time, because many cyclic aromatic hydrocarbons contained in crude oil are mutagenic and carcinogenic, they cause serious damage to human health through direct and indirect means.
